Building for the Future...

40 acres of land, 40 acres of promise

The Sugar Grove United Methodist Church has been at the foundation of the Sugar Grove Community since 1888, continually providing a healthy environment for Christian religious worship and spiritual development. Recently, our church purchased 40 acres of land on Harter Road to facilitate our urgently needed expansion plans.

While we are still preparing to build our future home, we are using the land to encourage the appreciation of God’s beautiful creation. During the summer months, we enjoy weekly outdoor worship services and also sponsor a youth rock concert, picnics, prairie work projects, and many other social gatherings.
